IGNITION
The search is on to discover the next generation of Irish dance stars who will become the first members of The American Company of Irish Dance. Following the success of the first Ignition event which took place in Milwaukee last August we are once again inviting dancers to submit their auditions online to be considered for an invitation to Ignition II taking place in Chicago this December. This will be the final chance for Irish dancers to audition to become the first professionally employed dancers with the new American Company of Irish Dance.
HOW IT WORKS
You are just three steps away from living the dream and becoming a professional Irish dancer. We are searching for highly skilled Irish dance performers who have a desire to explore and develop their stage skills and entertain audiences in spectacular new productions touring in 2016 and beyond.
1. APPLICATION
Click 'SUBMIT AUDITION' below or scroll down to fill in all your details, upload your video link and headshot and apply for your spot at Ignition II.
2. IGNITION
If your audition is successful you will be invited to attend Ignition in Chicago on December 11th - 13th. There is no charge to attend the audition weekend however dancers are responsible for their own travel & accommodation.
3. SELECTION
If you are successfully chosen from the Chicago audition weekend you will be offered a position as one of the first company members of The American Company of Irish Dance and will be informed of upcoming company rehearsals and tour dates. A full contract will be issued which will include the terms and conditions of your employment, salary and all other details.
